Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Transport Manager to oversee service operations for Transport deployments. This role involves managing outages, troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead transport network operations, incident management, and escalations.
Troubleshoot network issues, outages, and drive root cause analysis (RCA).
Collaborate with vendors (Cisco, Zayo, ATT, etc.) and internal teams for issue resolution.
Monitor network performance and ensure SLA adherence.
Maintain national availability >99.50%.
Requirements:
15 years of experience in IP Transport & Cloud Ops.
Expertise in BGP, ISIS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, DWDM, SDH, SON.
Strong knowledge of Cisco networks (CCNA/CCNP preferred).
Experience with 5G, ORAN, and network service providers.
Ability to manage escalations, incidents, and work in high-pressure environments.
