What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carhop position at Burgermaster?
Takes orders and then delivers food and refreshments to customers in cars. Collects money from customer, gives correct change, works as a team member, does side work when assigned.
Language Ability:
Ability to read Englsih and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for 6 to 9 hours a day; walk at 2.5 miles per hour; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must be able to move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 35 pounds regularly. Hair must be kept controlled, in a neat and tidy style, away from the face and shoulders. No hair can be allowed to touch the food tray.
