Burgess Construction Consultants, Inc. offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Plumbing and HVAC Specialist to join our team in the Bastrop area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of single-family, multi-family, and commercial buildings (new or remodeled) to identify defects and ensure compliance with building codes.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure they meet building code requirements.
- Identify defects and educate builders on necessary repairs and improvements.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to clients and builders.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve building code compliance.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Texas State Certified Plumbing Inspector certification required.
- Residential Combo or Commercial Combo Certification preferred.
- Three years of experience in volume residential, multi-family, or commercial construction.
- Two years of building inspection experience.
