What are the responsibilities and job description for the CADD Technician Co-op position at Burgess & Niple?

Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a summer 2025 CADD Technician Co-op to join our team in Cincinnati.

B&N CADD Technician Co-op Responsibilities

Work with engineers using CADD to develop plans and details for roadway projects
Assist with field services including survey crew and RPR services, scanning documents and organizing flat files
Use mathematical and basic engineering principles to assist in quantity calculation
Gain familiarity with the format and structure of technical documents
Perform routine assignments related to the creation and editing of technical documents
Become proficient in one or more CADD software packages

Skills And Qualifications

You are a current student in good standing pursuing a degree at a technical college
Strong interest in the transportation field (preferably roadway)
Experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD drawing software packages preferred
Microsoft excel and word experience required
Effective communication skills
