B&N Civil Engineering Intern Responsibilities
- Work with our project team, collaborate and learn from experienced professional engineers locally and throughout the firm
- Assist engineers with project scoping, preliminary plan design and final design tasks
- Develop construction plans, cost estimates, and specifications using design tools such as MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Support experienced engineers on transportation projects including preliminary plan development, CAD design, plan production, traffic design/analysis, bridge design, cost estimation, and geometric design
- You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least two years of your undergraduate degree
- You have a strong interest in transportation engineering; previous internships are a plus
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel required. Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation is a plus
