B&N is expanding our team in the Pacific Northwest, and we are looking for a motivated Project Manager/Roadway Engineer to lead an engineering design team on transportation infrastructure projects for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), various local agencies, and other Pacific Northwest clients. B&N Project Manager /Roadway Engineer Responsibilities
- Manage and lead transportation infrastructure design projects focusing on roadway/highway/bikeway and other facilities
- Lead the design and monitor task performance indicators such as budget, schedule, and risk
- Maintain quality control of the work product
- Mentor junior level staff and collaborate with Operation Leaders, Project Managers, and Professional Engineers across the firm
- Support proposal development and client relationship management
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil or transportation engineering program
- PE registration in the State of Oregon, or ability to be registered with reciprocity
- 10 years of related roadway design and project management experience. Knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plus.
- Experience leading design tasks or serving as roadway design lead.
- Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience is desirable. Relationships with ODOT or local agencies a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with Bentley OpenRoads/Civil 3D a plus
- Great communication and team leadership skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools·
