B&N is seeking a Transportation Engineer to conduct, produce, lead and/or manage, and support pursuit of Transportation Planning, Safety, and Engineering Studies. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in transportation safety planning/engineering (SS4A, Road Safety Assessments, project-level analysis, etc.), general transportation and traffic planning (regional transportation plans, corridor studies, area studies), and transportation engineering studies. This position can be filled in either our Phoenix or Flagstaff office.

B&N Transportation Engineer Responsibilities
- Actively participate, produce/deliver, and/or lead tasks for transportation safety, planning and engineering projects.
- May have potential to direct the work of others, develop staff, and continue building your own technical skillset.
- Maintain quality control of your work products and successfully complete projects on time and within budget.
- Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery.
- Participate in agency coordination, planning and programming, and work with multi-discipline teams.
- Expand relationship depth with key existing and new clients.
- As part of the project team, support the preparation of proposals and interviews and support scope development and execution upon selection.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program.
- PE registration in the State of Arizona (or ability to be registered with reciprocity).
- 4 or more years of related transportation and traffic safety engineering experience.
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certifications desired.
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable.
