PRIMARY FUNCTION
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Purchasing Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while assisting with various tasks and projects. You will work closely with team members to support daily operations, learn industry practices, and contribute to the overall success of the department.
DUTIES AND RESPINSIBILITIES
• Assist in various tasks and projects as directed by team members or supervisors.
• Support the team in day-to-day activities and help improve operational processes.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and provide administrative support as needed.
• Help maintain files, records, and documentation as needed.
• Align SAP with accurate and up-to-date purchasing data.
• Track and report cost savings from purchasing activities.
• Validate purchasing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards for purchasing analysis.
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Support the team in maintaining and organizing purchasing records and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Currently enrolled in a degree program (or recent graduate) in a relevant field.
Skills, Certifications, Abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Salary : $18 - $24
