WHAT YOU’LL DO Primary Function Summary
- Reviewing tooling request with Senior Toolmaker or Plant Manager and the entity making the requisition. After reviewing the request, submit recommendations on repair procedures (work ticket).
- Assists in maintaining part inventory for common replacement items such as; dies, inserts, sleeves, etc.
- Maintain conditions and housekeeping of the tooling equipment and area.
- Manufactures and repairs fixtures and specialized tools as requested and approved by Engineering Manager
- Provides tooling assistance to Maintenance Department as approved by the Engineering Manager and / or Plant Manager
- Responsible for maintaining daily log book and maintenance request forms
- Responsible for maintaining setting-up and operating machinery equipment such as; lathe, mill, surface grinder, etc. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
