What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimating Department Manager position at Burgess Sales & Supply?
The Estimating Department Manager will work alongside and manage a team of estimators in the preparation of bids & proposals. Candidates for this position should have a proven record in estimating Hollow Metal, Wood Doors, Finish Hardware and Division 10 items by accurately interpreting plans and specifications. Candidates shall have experience managing personnel and the ability to close sales by furnishing an accurately defined scope and pricing based on plans and specifications.
Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years experience in the Door and Hardware industry with minimum of 8 years experience in estimating and management. AHC is preferred but not required. Excellent computer skills and experience with an industry based software is required. Experience with Comsense DOS is preferred.
