Position Summary
The Personal Lines Account Manager maintains clients within a Customer Service team. The primary responsibility is to answer coverage, billing questions, make changes and write new policies for the clients.
Principal Accountabilities
- Good communication skills are essential
- Maintains self-control in difficult situations
- Resolves issues that require judgment based on company guidelines
- Initiates changes and corrections based on customer requests
- Works with company underwriters to find solutions to many challenges
- Quotes and writes new business for all Personal Lines
- Assists other members of the department, including Producers
- Review accounts to offer the best coverage available for clients and round out accounts
Job Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Two years Personal Lines experience in an agency or company customer service department.
Skills:
Communicates, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner
Familiar with an Agency Management System, preferably AMS360
Proficiency with carrier web portals
Microsoft Office products
