Burgoon Company is a dynamic small business dedicated to supplying top-notch MRO and safety products that empower our customers to succeed in their missions. We’re seeking an energetic, driven Book Manager to help elevate our sales performance and nurture strong customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

Build Lasting Customer Relationships:

  • Engage with both new and existing customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service.
  • Develop connections with end users and top-level management through regular onsite visits and proactive communication.
  • Follow our customer retention core process to keep satisfaction high

Drive Sales and Profitability:

  • Negotiate deals and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
  • Implement our structured sales process to secure business and build lasting customer bonds.
  • Adhere to our established business development strategies.

Lead and Collaborate:

  • Use our L-10 meeting framework to prioritize tasks effectively and ensure seamless coordination across customer service and accounting processes.
  • Work with your book team to execute tasks flawlessly and deliver outstanding customer service.

Develop Your Sales Pipeline:

  • Document opportunities using CHART, maintaining a robust pipeline in line with our business development process.
  • Actively prospect for new leads and potential customer opportunities.

Partner with Other Departments:

  • Use L-10 meetings to voice ideas and streamline processes across the board.
  • Collaborate with various teams to share insights, address challenges, and enhance operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Proven track record in outside sales or a similar role.
  • Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Drive: A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset who thrives both independently and in a team setting.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
