Burial Beer is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Administrator to keep our brewing operations running smoothly. This role ensures we have everything needed to produce, package, and ship our products by managing vendors, inventory, orders, production data, and logistics.

The Job
The Production Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the Company has what it needs in order to produce, package, ship and keep track of its products. This position is responsible for managing vendors, inventory, orders, production data, and product shipments. This position is a member of the brewery management team and reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.
What You’ll Do
Primary duty is to manage the administration of the Company’s production of products, from end to end. This includes managing material and product inventory, orders, planning and forecasting in Company software (Ekos). The position will be responsible for inventory count oversight, production and packaging output entry, and managing orders of materials and supplies needed for execution of production, packaging, and shipping.Work collaboratively with CSO and brewery management team (production, quality and packaging) to develop strategies for production during regular meetings and on-going communications.Provide subject matter expertise to the Company on the subject of materials procurement, logistics efficiency, and production inventory operations.Oversee timely and accurate inventory counts and ordering of raw materials and supplies in the brewing operationsOversee timely and accurate inventory counts and ordering of packaging materials and suppliesOversee timely and accurate inventory counts and ordering of warehousing materials and suppliesTimely reporting of all inventory for financial, accounting and tax purposesTimely entry of all production batches into Ekos, and management of confirmation with brewery team membersTimely entry of all packaging output into Ekos, and management of confirmation with packaging team membersAccuracy reconciliation of Ekos production and packaging entries by other team membersForecasting of materials and supplies needed for future production and execution of orders to maintain adequate inventoryAssist in managing company product inventory and sales to wholesalers and taproomsPayment of vendor invoices and timely entry in Company systemsCommunicate clearly and regularly with the production team about material and supply orders, shipping and receivingVendor order submission, order entry into Ekos and Basecamp and order tracking until delivered and posted into inventory.Vendor information, orders, invoices and A / P entry into QuickbooksVendor relationship management, vetting of vendors, establishing of terms, and management of contracts where necessaryIdentify wastefulness and areas for improvement, and implement strategies to make operations as efficient as possibleAssess and analyze departmental budgets to find ways to optimize profitability through procurement practicesRequirements :
Who We’re Looking For
