Pipeline/Pump Station Engineer Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager at Burian & Associates, you will play a critical role in managing water pipeline and pump station projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:
· Conducting site reviews and research to determine pipeline specifications (length, flowrate, diameter, materials, pressure rating, and placement)
· Designing new pump stations and developing plans and specifications
· Preparing technical materials such as pipeline layouts, pump stations layouts, flow simulations/modeling, and cost estimates
· Administering and overseeing construction, installation, and maintenance of pipeline and pump station infrastructure
· Performing quality control assessments to ensure compliance with technical specifications
· Managing project workflow, budget, and coordinating with contractors and clients
· Developing operating procedures and emergency response plans for pipelines and pump stations
· Staying updated on design software, technical standards, and construction techniques
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering
· Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain in 1 year
· 3-5 years of experience in pipeline engineering or related field
· Proficiency in design software and PHMSA/ASME pipeline regulations
· Knowledge of pipeline and pump station construction methods
· Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
· Willingness to travel to project site as required
