What are the responsibilities and job description for the Track and Field Coach position at Burke Catholic Athletic Department?
Burke Catholic Academy is looking for a Modified Modified Track & Field Coach to join our school community to help provide our student-athletes with an overall positive high school athletic experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading practices, developing drills, and teaching the fundamentals of the sport. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and a commitment to helping our student-athletes reach their goals. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about the game, has strong leadership skills, and is able to motivate and inspire our student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practice plans and meet strategies.
- Motivate athletes' to reach their full potential.
- Develop athletes' technical and tactical skills.
- Monitor athletes' performance and provide feedback.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate with parents and guardians.
NOTE: a one time stipend is payable at the conclusion of the season. Amount will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- After school
- Weekends as needed
