Job Title: Billing Manager
We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to oversee and optimize our billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.
This role is responsible for ensuring efficient revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, claims processing, denial management, and patient billing.
This ensures compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, and other funding sources while working to maximize reimbursement and reduce financial barriers for clients.
The Billing Manager will oversee and supervise the Billing Department's daily operations and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Responsibilities include:
- Insurance verification and claims processing
- Denieal management and patient billing
- Reimbursement optimization and compliance
- Supervising the Billing Department's daily operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration from an accredited college or university
- TWO years of experience in business or a related field
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analytics
- Valid Texas driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration from an accredited college or university
- One year of experience in revenue cycle management or five years of experience with a strong background in accounting or business
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems
Working Conditions:
This position requires sitting for long periods of time throughout the day, mobility to bend, reach, lift 25 pounds, and legible handwriting.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday; generally, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
