Burke Construction Group is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Estimating team as an Estimating Coordinator. In this role, you must be able to prepare and review instructions to bidders and become an integral part of the team/department. Above all, you will leave your imprint upon each project you touch.
Responsibilities
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications to assist the Estimator to identify and solicit bids
- Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Maintenance of all project logs utilizing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets including requests for information and proposal requests
- Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum of two year job experience in construction
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, ConstructConnect, BuildingConnected and Pantera
