Job Summary : Provides instruction in selected areas of Engineering to ensure that students gain appropriate knowledge and skills about the industry and are prepared for a career and post secondary opportunities
Education : Bachelor's Degree
Certification / Licensure : Most hold or be eligible for a valid Technololgy certificatefrom GaPSC
Areas of specialization : Engineering and Technology

Provides content-related and appropriate instruction based on state and local curriculum through a combination of classroom, laboratory and co-curricular experienceProvides instruction and projects based on program guidelines and requirementProvides leadership opportunities for students by serving as an advisor for a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), i.e Technology Student Assocation (TSA), which includes time after school, travel, fundraising, etc. with studentsManages and maintains program facilities and equipmentAdheres to all state guidelines required for the implementation of a successful programProvides a classroom enviroment which promotes active learning in the subject areaCommunicates responsibly with students, parents, colleagues, school, business partners and county leadershipAccounts for student attendance and punctualityFollows all county, state and federal policies and proceduresFollows professional ethics in all work-related activitiesAdditional Responsibilities
