Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, with experience in various areas of dentistry including general dentistry, oral surgery, implant and Invisalign . As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
- Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in the creation of dental models.
- Manage patient records using eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Support the dentist in various specialties as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is required.
- Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
