Responsibilities:
- Drive startup, troubleshooting, documentation, and confirmation that all Dyno drives and Dyno software are set up to standard
- ISO Technical support including working with Quality department personnel, training ISO certified personnel, managing ISO documentation and approving Lab Calibration/Acceptance tests
- Train FSEs in all areas of Dyno setup and testing, and confirm all FSEs are following procedures and setting up dynos in the field
- Provide remote support to customers and FSEs in the field including assisting with Dyno Helpdesk as needed
- Assist software engineers with system testing and troubleshooting including validation of new features
- BSEE with strong mechanical background preferred
- Good working knowledge of machinery and/or willingness to learn the skills needed to become an experienced Field Service Engineer
- At least 2-3 year’s relevant field service experience preferred
- Self-motivated and understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals and can work effectively under pressure
- Able and willing to travel extensively on short notice (50% travel)
- Able to understand electronic and computer hardware functionality and use knowledge to troubleshoot equipment to board level
- Experience with “C/C ” programming is a plus
- Experience in performing closed-loop system tuning and identifying system characteristics and limitations is a plus
- Knowledge of PLC’s, with ability to understand and read ladder logic is a plus
