What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician, Full-time position at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital?
Responsibilities: Under pharmacist supervision, provides accurate assistance in the filling of medication drawers, floor stock requisitions, controlled substances and other related duties. Makes deliveries to patient care units and ancillary departments. Logs all drug shipments delivered to the Pharmacy and prepares invoices and purchase orders for processing. Must maintain a current working knowledge of the Pharmacy computer system.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Technician experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
- Registered pharmacy technician in New York State and national certification
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm. Must be able to work alternating Saturday evenings.
