A Pharmacy Technician includes being able to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to efficiently, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions. In addition, technicians have the opportunity to provide customer service that goes above customer expectations. Retail pharmacy is a fast-paced work environment where you can demonstrate compassionate and genuine care for patients.
New Pharmacy Technicians will be provided with training to be successful in the pharmacy and will complete the required registration and licensing for the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technicians can expand their training and continue to build clinical knowledge. We provide the experience and opportunity to build your pharmacy career.
Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate with healthcare team members
- Prepare and compound medications in various forms
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements for South Carolina
Previous Experience as a pharmacy technician is not required for this position. Training is provided to learn customer service and processes to be successful in the pharmacy.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to learn medical terminology and medication administration procedures
