Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep-Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and ensuring that our guests enjoy delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with experience in restaurant or hotel settings.
Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service, including banquet events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Buss tables and assist in maintaining dining area cleanliness during service.
- Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or needed supplies to the kitchen manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
