What are the responsibilities and job description for the 0.67 FTE Custodian position at Burke Town School?
Burke Town School seeks a Part-time, full-year Custodian. This job includes customary cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, removing trash, restocking bathrooms, etc. Minor maintenance, including repairs and painting, moving furniture during the summer, assistance with snow removal in the winter, etc. Additional custodial duties include securing the building, preparing for special events, operating of typical custodial equipment such as floor machines. We maintain a collaborative team environment where flexibility and cooperation are expected. Strong interpersonal skills for interactions with colleagues, staff, and students are a must.
Burke Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District and is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
