Job Summary
We are looking for a positive, dynamic, self-motivated, well-organized, task oriented, reliable, dependable, lifelong-learner mentality, solution-oriented ROCK STAR who loves the idea of developing scripts and systems for office processes, and for an outstanding patient experience in our physical therapy clinic.
This position is not for you if you require micro-management, spend more time focusing on problems than solutions, engage in office drama and gossip, have no interest in helping patients have a great experience, don't like the field of Physical Therapy, and are unable to take charge of your environment and role.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Work as front-desk receptionist to ensure coverage of weekday opening through closing tasks of phone management, greeting/escorting/scheduling patients, completing intake/registration/processing of new patients, insurance coordination/verification and collecting patient financial contributions.
2. Coordination of Billing Collections - Ensure clinical and data-entry for staff to complete all billing tasks timely and accurately, transmit information between the offices, problem-solve issues/discrepancies between the offices, verify accuracy of financial and practice management reports between offices and report directly to owner.
3. Administrative Assistant - Working with other staff and owner to develop scripts for various tasks and systems for each practice division. Assist with payroll task, financial/bookkeeping/reconciliation tasks, and with in-house promotion and marketing processes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
* Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
*Attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
