Automotive Title Clerk

Job Description: As an Automotive Title Clerk at Burlington Volkswagen, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the title and registration process for our customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that all vehicle transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with state regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process title and registration paperwork for all sold vehicles.
• Verify the accuracy of title documents, including vehicle identification numbers (VINs) and lien information.
• Submit title applications to the DMV and follow up on any discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies to resolve any title-related matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state title regulations and dealership policies.
• Keep organized records of all title documents and related correspondence.
• Assist the sales and finance departments with title-related inquiries and support.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 1 years previous experience as a Title Clerk or Billing Specialist required, preferably in an automotive dealership setting.
• Strong knowledge of DMV title processing procedures and state regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using dealership management software (CDK) and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus.
