What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Attendant position at Burlington Auto Group?
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the dealership lot, ensuring all vehicles are clean, well-organized, and properly displayed.
- Move vehicles around the lot, as well as to and from service areas, ensuring they are parked neatly and safely.
- Assist with the preparation of vehicles for customer delivery, including cleaning and fueling.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles on the lot, checking for cleanliness, damages, and tire pressure.
- Support the sales and service teams by retrieving vehicles for customer test drives and service appointments.
- Ensure all vehicles are locked and secure when not in use.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as cleaning the lot, showroom, and service areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
