Summary:
The Burlington Country Club is excited to announce job openings for Grounds Maintenance positions for the upcoming golf season. We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals that want to be part of a cohesive team, providing an exceptional presentation of our facility. Candidates should be driven to provide outstanding results, willing to be part of a positive atmosphere, and able to work independently on routine responsibilities. The Burlington Country Club provides an excellent greenspace work environment at an outstanding golf facility. Candidates will be involved in all aspects of grounds maintenance including routine mowing, course setup, bunker maintenance, cultural practices, course improvement projects, and more. Essential Job Functions:
· Daily setup of the golf course
· Routine Mowing Assignments (greens, tees, fairways, etc.)
· Bunker Maintenance
· Course improvement projects
· Naturalized Area maintenance
· Landscaping/Annual Garden maintenance
· Cart path grading/upkeep
· Cultural Practices (aerification, verticutting, topdressing)
· Irrigation usage and repairs
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
· Experience in related field required. Golf course experience not required, but highly encouraged.
· Availability until end of golf season (late November), with priority hiring for next season.
· Ability to safely operate power equipment, including but limited to tractors, golf carts, mowing equipment, string trimmers, etc.
· Candidates should be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, lift 50 lbs., and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
· Ability to work well both individually and in a team atmosphere.
· Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
