Ophthalmology Client Care Liaison
Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists in Williston, VT
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The ophthalmology client care liaison will be the first point of contact for ophthalmology clients and is an integral part of the ophthalmology and client care teams. You will be working alongside the clinical department to ensure client and hospital needs are appropriately met. This will be achieved in varying ways ranging from client communication and scheduling to assisting the client/patient through the admission and discharge process.
The ophthalmology client care liaison will also perform many aspects of patient admission and discharge to/from the hospital, including obtaining patient medical history, discussing the plan for the visit, arranging discharge time and reviewing discharge instruction.
The ophthalmology client care liaison in involved in many aspects of department operation to ensure a high level client experience.

REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED certificate required; college graduate preferred
1-2 years client support service experience in a fast paced, in-person organization
1-2 years of veterinary assistant/technical experience
Ability to perform light lifting (up to 50 pounds) and repetitive physical activity
Ability to sit, walk, squat, bend, stand, reach, lift, and type constantly for a minimum of 8 hours a day
