Job Summary
Responsible for feeding material correctly into the AutoChrome machinery, maintaining proper handling to minimize creases and defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists AutoChrome Operator by feeding sheets of materials into Kromex, or other AutoChrome, machinery utilizing proper product handling techniques.
- Activates vacuum to hold product in place before processing job.
- Assists with tear down tasks following completion of a run.
- Advises AutoChrome Supervisor of cutting problems and troubleshoots any issues as necessary.
- Continually monitors product to assure the parts meet BGS and customer specifications.
- Records date and quantity electronically in the quality management system.
- Run rate goal is to reach 100% productivity.
- Understands and implements safety standards in all job duties performed in this role.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English. Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of BGS.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations.
