What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Inspection position at Burlington Graphic Systems, Inc.?
Basic Function Inspect and approve with stamped acceptance quality of finished-printed goods.
Reporting the errors, scrap and possible reason to both Quality and Manufacturing Managers.
Specific Duties
- Inspect finished – printed product for: quality of print, registration of print and cut, match and desired colors to swatch, customer specifications, etc.
- Stamp acceptance on Job Ticket of product that will ship with counts of good and scrap pieces. In – process inspection ticket will need to be kept and reported.
- Sort, track and report categories of rejected material and any corrective actions that might be desirable.
- Monitor shipping list for priority of product to be inspected/shipped.
- Coordinate with in – process auditor and compare/exchange data and information about problems and scrapped material.
- Assist in training quality standards.
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Do all other tasks as assigned.
