Basic Function
Purchase all production related and non-related Materials, ensuring a quality product is purchased at an economical price. Assist in monthly physical inventory. Ensure that raw material procedures are followed.
Specific Duties
- Ensure a Stock Status Report is generated every day.
- Review Open P.O. List and resolve any discrepancies (once a week).
- Verify Inventory Depletion Sheets; check against punches (daily).
- Place orders for Raw Materials and utilize quality price breaks and limit overhead.
- Maintain vendor relations to stay current with new materials and special incentives.
- Assist in doing monthly physical inventory.
- Handle all material returns to ensure proper credit.
- Investigate invoicing problems.
- Ensure material arrives on time - not too late or too early.
- Look at new pricing for premasks, plastics ect. when price increases.
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Do all other duties as assigned.
