Rewinder

Basic Function

Run rewinder, inspecting and ensuring the production of a quality product according to customer specifications.

Specific Duties

• Cut cores for rotary department.
• Inspect rolls and wind to proper footage.  Mark footage on partial roll.
• Label all rolls.
• Record date and job count and initial operation on job jacket. 
• Attach sample to job ticket and blue print. 
• Place rolls on shelf if “hold for release” is required. 
• Label any precut overage. 
• Return cores to proper bin. 
• Keep immediate work area clean and orderly. 
• Perform all other duties as required.
