Burlington Housing Authority (BHA) in Burlington, VT is seeking a Rental Assistance Specialist II (RAS II) to process the annual & interim recertifications for tenant and project-based vouchers and grant-funded rental assistance programs. The RAS also provides help, when needed, with other rental assistance programs administered by the Burlington Housing Authority.
Candidates must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years previous office experience
- Must possess outstanding organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be adept at fostering positive and collaborative relationships with staff, residents, vendors and community agencies alike
- Be sensitive to the needs of lowincome households, elderly and disabled individuals
- Experience in federally assisted housing programs, including knowledge of LIHTC Programs, or property management preferred, but not required.
