Job Purpose: Operate and maintain fabric printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials in accordance with production requirements and work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabric Printing: Operate fabric printing equipment and perform associated tasks according to production work orders and specifications.
Quality Assurance: Inspect printed materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards before moving them to the next workstation.
Workflow Management: Process orders in a first-in/first-out order or as directed by the supervisor to maintain efficient workflow.
Communication: Collaborate with Customer Service and Supervisors to clarify specifications or resolve any discrepancies in production work orders.
Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to the company’s 5S standards and reporting any hazards or equipment issues.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in Burlington Medical's Continuous Improvement program by sharing ideas to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills: Effective communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in navigating computer systems to locate and prepare digital files for printing, and adjusting settings to achieve correct output.
Detail Orientation: Strong ability to read and interpret detailed instructions and ensure precision in all work tasks.
Multitasking and Independence: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
o High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred:
Experience operating CNC machines, large-scale printers, or other production machinery.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and work for up to 8 hour per day.
Perform repetitive tasks in a production environment with sustained focus and physical effort.
