Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This role is a leadership position within the attenuation material operations and will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring optimal manufacturing efficiency, and delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Lead and execute projects to improve production workflows, reduce costs, and increase capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, and production, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues, ensuring long-term solutions are in place.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for manufacturing processes.
- Oversee equipment installation, validation, and maintenance within the attenuation material operations.
- Take responsibility for overall equipment maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
- Utilize data analysis and problem-solving methodologies to identify and address process bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to production staff and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in attenuation material operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in statistical tools and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools is desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to the manufacturing industry.
