Job Overview
The person in this position will work as part of a collaborative team and be responsible for providing quality treatment services and clinical oversight to programs in West Virginia.
Essential Duties:
Supports the Sanctuary (trauma informed) model and evaluates the effectiveness of counseling and treatment programs.
Review and offer modifications to treatment plans and mental health assessments to accommodate client needs.
Ensure medical necessity is met for billing where applicable.
Collaborating with the clinical team on program design, development, and implementation.
Collaborate with other professionals to assess client needs or plan treatments.
Provide quality assurance reviews every month to ensure our standards meet expectations.
Ensure that personnel are fully qualified, oriented, trained, credentialed, and motivated to provide competent and compassionate care in keeping with Burlington's emphasis on excellence in service delivery.
Review assigned staff electronic health system notes, assessments, and treatment plans and sign them as necessary.
Respond to all emergencies that would necessitate intervention.
Ensure the development of standard operating policies and procedures and oversight the implementation of those policies and procedures as it pertains to clinical practices.
Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of BUMFS.
Provide clinical supervision for all agency licensed and non-licensed clinicians as assigned.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Conducts and provides clinical and nonclinical staff training and skill enhancement opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises assigned staff, including but not limited to Nursing staff, dietary department personnel, and clinical staff.
Qualifications
Education level:
Masters degree in social work, psychology
Professional license in the State of WV in applicable field (LICSW, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a trauma-based treatment facility for youth.
3 years of treatment plans, mental health assessments and reviewing mental status exams for billing purposes.
Two years of experience in supervising staff.
Experience in using technology for service provision and reporting into an electronic health record.
