As a BuildingMaintenance Technician, you will perform or assist in the performance all basic maintenance repairs and installations such as toilets, faucets, simple drain clogs, water filter PM’s, basic lighting repairs and emergency repairs. This position will also be responsible for interior and exterior painting including priming, and wall repair.
**A Day in the Life**
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to facility equipment, mechanical systems and structure.
Assist Corporate Facilities staff with associate and furniture moves and event preparation
Perform exterior maintenance tasks as needed (snow/ice management, lawn irrigation, planting)
Respond to, and assist as needed, in building emergency matters such as plumbing leaks, power failure, fire, etc.
When directed, inspect systems and equipment for proper operation and safety standards
Interior and exterior painting including wall repair.
**You Come With**
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, Trade School degree or certificate a plus
1 years of general commercial building maintenance experience
Experience with maintaining plumbing, electrical, carpentry
Ability to effectively perform or assist with repairs and needed tasks under emergency situations
Experience with facilities work order ticketing systems a plus (i.e., Service Channel)
Basic computer skills experience (sending/receiving/reading/responding to emails and updating work order system)
Valid driver's license required
