**LOCATION** 4287 Route 130 S Edgewater Park NJ US 08010 **Overview** Join the Burlington team as a **General Manager – Distribution Centers – Edgewater Park, NJ** in one of our state-of-the-art Distribution Centers! Reporting to the VP of Distribution, you will be responsible for overseeing a shift of our DC associates. Oversee management of all areas of the DC, and direct activities so that service level requirements and quality standards are met while maintaining cost objectives. This is an operational/administrative management position reporting and accountable to the Vice President of Distribution. Activities of this position include responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and ensuring the execution of all functions within the Distribution Center consistent with Federal, State, Company and Budgetary guidelines. The primary responsibility is to ensure maximum store service at maximum cost efficiency. This position will provide support to the 800 plus Burlington stores nationwide. Ensuring jointly with merchandising and buying, the maximum service level to retail customer. Assist with the preparation and ensure the execution of annual operations budgets within company expectations. Support the development and maintenance of systems to ensure a safe workplace, included in this is the accountability for reduction of and control of accident costs.
