Elevate is looking for a Production Machine Operator to join our work family at Burlington Finishing Plant (formally known as Burlington Industries). Must be willing to work in a non-climate controlled environment and work overtime as needed, Drug testing and background checks are required upon offer of employment.
Primary Job Duties:
- Responsible for all operation and set up of production machinery
- Meet or exceed company quality standards
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Comply with company processes and procedures
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Stand, walk, lift, bed, stoop, and reach while handling material or products
- Work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
- Perform job duties in variable temperatures based on weather conditions (including hot weather)
- Ensure good housekeeping of all areas and company premises
- Successfully complete drug and background screenings
Mandatory Prerequisites:
- Must process competent reading/writing skills to read operating procedures, production records, and machine data sheets
- Able to walk/stand for duration of shift
- Able to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds
