Experienced Commercial Construction Estimator
Are you an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator who can take a set of blueprints and determine exactly what is needed to bring them to life? Can you work thru the entire scope of a project from start to finish – determining the materials (quantity & costs), equipment (types & costs), labor (types & costs) and overall time required – and prepare an accurate bid? We are Burman Companies, a small Commercial General Contracting company located in Ozark, Missouri. Our projects range from small image upgrades to infills to complete ground-ups (including sitework). We’ve coordinated the construction &/or remodel of restaurants, skilled care facilities, convenience stores/gas stations, automotive/tire shops, churches, solar farms, dental clinics, dispensaries, drive-thru car washes and coffee shops in the civilian world and on military bases.

· Organized & Detail-Oriented
· Effective Time Manager & Prioritizer
· Clear Communicator and Negotiator via phone and email
· Ethical, Hard-working, Honest
· Able to read & understand plans
· Works well within deadlines
· Proficient in BlueBeam, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft tools, i.e. OneDrive & Outlook
· Voracious Learner
A typical day includes:
· Doing takeoffs and material orders -- preferably with Bluebeam
· Pricing up projects – including materials, estimated labor, etc.
· Typing clear clarifications on bidding projects
· Reaching out to potential subcontractors via email and phone
· Receiving, reviewing & clarifying (as needed) subcontractor proposals/bids
· Helping potential subcontractors answer questions from the plans &/or passing RFIs on to owners when plans are unclear
· Coordinating and balancing workflow of multiple projects bidding weekly

Salary: $36,400.00 to $67,600.00, depending upon experience
