Inventory Specialist
Job Summary:
We're seeking an exceptional Retail and online Inventory Specialist to lead our team at our premier vitamin and supplement shop in Brookhaven, PA. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for developing outstanding Inventory Control systems, Maximizing Inventory Efficiency and driving Cost Savings by limiting out of stocks and improving our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, track inventory movements, and perform cycle counts.
2. Stockroom Operations: Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of inventory.
3. Ordering and Receiving: Place orders with suppliers, receive and inspect shipments, and update inventory records.
4. Inventory Reporting: Generate inventory reports to identify trends, track inventory levels, and optimize stock levels.
5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving inventory-related issues.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Experience: at least 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
3. Skills:
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
4. Certifications: None required, but certifications like APICS or ISM are a plus.
