Job Overview
We are currently hiring for our early morning shift (4:30 am - 8:30 am), 3 to 4 mornings per week and one Saturday morning shift (6:30 am - 12:00 pm) every 6 weeks.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Customer Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our members and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support and contributes to the growth of our business by increasing the sales of gym memberships. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome members upon arrival, ensuring a positive impression for new and current members and understand that a positive member experience is of utmost importance
- Manage front desk operations including updating member information, completing retail transactions, discussing membership options with potential members
- Engage with members, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Communicate with members (either in person or via messaging software) in a polite, professional and helpful manner
- Maintain a high standard of organization and cleaning of the gym, including cleaning of equipment, bathrooms, vacuuming/moping of floors, keeping retail wall orderly and stocked, clean towels and water restocked, shelves dusted and workout floor equipment tidy and organized between camps
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Discuss membership options with potential members with confidence
- Have a "How can I help you?" approach to the job and understand the importance of teamwork
- Must enjoy engaging in conversations
Experience
- Previous experience with customer service and sales are preferred but not required.
- Ability to learn new software systems
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective communication with members and colleagues.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as language skills can enhance guest interactions.
