POSITION OVERVIEW

As Director of IT Engineering and Product Delivery at Burn Boot Camp, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and successful delivery of all member experience technologies and cloud platforms for gym memberships, lead generation, SEO, and e-commerce through Shopify. You will partner with the VP of Technology to define and execute the platform roadmap, lead and mentor a high-performing team of developers and vendors and ensure seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies to enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Product Ownership & Delivery :  Define product requirements and user and manage the product the development and delivery of digital products and products meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Incident & Problem Management :  Respond to and resolve service disruptions and root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventative the availability and stability of digital platforms.
  • Developer & Vendor Management :  Manage relationships with development teams and external vendors.
  • Oversee the performance and delivery of development projects.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Acquisition Funnel : Craft a captivating digital journey that seamlessly converts prospects into loyal Burn Boot Camp members, encompassing , marketing funnels, and landing pages.
  • Local Presence : Ensure strong local search presence by managing location pages and SEO on platforms like SOCi.
  • Trainer and Business Enablement : Architect and oversee the web presence for the Trainer Portal, Events, and Franchise Development.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Implement a robust CRM system to foster stronger customer relationships and loyalty programs.
  • E-commerce Integration : Spearhead B2B and B2C web solutions and integrations, including those with Shopify.
  • Data-Driven Decisions : Guide data strategy by managing the enterprise data warehouse built on Snowflake.
  • Product Management Prowess : Own the development backlog and product roadmap for all the aforementioned platforms and channels.
  • Vendor Management Expertise : Forge strong relationships with development resources and agencies to ensure flawless execution across all platforms.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of corporate technology experience leading digital, marketing, and engineering initiatives with proven implementation and delivery
  • 3 years experience in supporting and leading Web, Mobile, or Digital development teams
  • 3 years experience in Java, Javascript, SQL, or any modern software development framework
  • Demonstrable understanding of product management or associated certification
