What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN position at BURNCO LLC?
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to maintain facility operations by performing general maintenance tasks that prevent downtime and ensure production safety, quality and efficiency.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions including hot / cold temperatures and rain / snow conditions.
- Employee constantly uses fine motor skills, gross motor skills, eye / hand coordination, coordination, near / far vision and requires active hearing / listening.
- Employee frequently stands, walks, sits, kneels, bends, lifts up to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, pushes, pulls, and utilizes manual dexterity.
- Employee occasionally climbs and crawls.
- Employee is exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes and aggregate materials.
- Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats. Additional PPE required if performing special jobs.
Pay Rate : $28 and up with experience. Premium pay available with 2 years experience.
