GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position directs the design, development, acquisition and ongoing maintenance of information technology systems, software applications, phone systems and other technology used by staff to meet the needs of the County. Position directs, oversees and/or provides support and guidance for information technology systems throughout the County as well as plan, facilitate and oversee budget and operations of the Technology Department.
Performs cybersecurity analysis work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning. Work involves overseeing cybersecurity programs and environments; the prevention, detection, and remediation of cybersecurity threats and intrusions; cybersecurity policies and monitoring protocols; and leading the development of a security plan, with an emphasis on technical infrastructure and long-term risk mitigation.
