Schedule: This full-time position offers 32 hours of work per week, paid at a rate commensurate with experience. The schedule includes Friday evenings and weekends.
Job Summary: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic duties in the emergency room and outpatient settings. You will operate x-ray equipment, prepare patient rooms, and administer medications as needed. Our small but busy department offers a variety of duties, including computed tomography (CT) scans. We will provide training to support your growth towards obtaining a CT license.
Responsibilities:
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patient rooms and equipment for procedures
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in good standing
- ARRT registration and WI state licensure
- Knowledge of radiologic equipment, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and staff members
- Minimum one year of experience preferred
