Import Customer Service Manager
Our client, located near BUSH IAH airport, is looking to add an Import Manager to their team. The company offers an excellent benefits package and great environment.
Managing a team of 25, the Import Manager will handle all customer complaints and provide resolutions.
Monitor performance and drive efficiency, while establishing and implementing policies and procedures that will benefit the department.
This person will be responsible for providing daily and monthly reports to upper management.
Ensure that Customs rules and regulations are followed and manage fine mitigation, if received.
Mitigate customs penalties for rail shipments.
Work with Accounting to make sure accounts are kept current.
Follow procedures set forth in creating and handling IJOS issued.
Create 3PI for DEM checks received from terminals.
Must have extensive knowledge of imports and regulations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
Must have experience working with expats and with a multi-cultural company.
