This leadership role oversees commercial lending operations, focusing on risk management, loan underwriting, and rebuilding the loan production office. The ideal candidate has a banking background, strong market insight, and the ability to develop firm yet fair processes to set the organization up for future success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute commercial lending strategies for portfolio growth, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Oversee a commercial portfolio, including owner-occupied real estate, construction, C&I, and agricultural loans.
• Foster strong member relationships and engage with the community to promote credit union services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement effective risk management practices.
• Participate in the Executive Loan Committee to analyze and structure complex loan requests.
• Drive innovation and streamline lending operations through new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance member experience and achieve organizational goals.
• Manage vendor relationships to optimize underwriting processes.
