Behavior Assistant – Training & (RBT) Certification Provided!
- Location: Alameda County - San Leandro & Hayward
- Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Job Type: PART-TIME (10 hours - 25 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 9AM-8PM, and some weekends
- Work Setting: In-home setting
- What You’ll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 behavior programs in clients' homes (training provided)
- Engage with children in a fun and energetic way to support learning and development
- Collect accurate data on client progress
- Collaborate with families to provide a safe, supportive environment
- Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training and mentorship
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
- RBT certification is a plus, but we will cover the cost of obtaining it!
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
- CPR & First Aid Certification is required!
- Desire to become a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) with our help!
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Reliability and a willingness to work with a variety of clients
- Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required
- Behavioral knowledge/experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work a consistent schedule (afternoons/evenings with some weekend/morning availability)
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and driver’s license
- Able to pass a Live Scan FBI & DOJ Clearance
- Able to obtain a Physical (past year) and TB Test (past 90 days)
- CPR & First Aid Certification
